Real Luxury. Often the term luxury gets confused to mean anything of great expense, but the definition of luxury has to do with what is explored in my second book - Living the Simply Luxurious Life, exemplified in my third - The Road to Le Papillon and shown how to experience for ourselves in my latest book - Savoring the Sojourn. Ultimately, luxury is something that takes effort, intention and investment of either our time and/or money that wasn't easy nor haphazard. And upon reaching the desired outcome, the journey has deepened our sense of appreciation so that we won't thoughtlessly take for granted what we have or how we have grown. So I guess, yes, luxury is of great expense, but the expense is far more profound and significant than just an exchange of money and it isn't a choice made to impress the outside world, but to step more fully into our own peace and fulfillment.

An excerpt from Savoring the Sojourn: Contentment through the Seasons as You Unearth Your Masterpiece. It is found in the Overture chapter in the section titled "The Cycle of the Creation of Art". With six overarching chapters in the book, each broken down into small mini sections, when we understand the flow and rhythm of the full four-part cycle, we give ourselves stability and this calms us before we begin. This knowing provides peace of mind with all of the many uncertainties that will always be present along the way.

All four formats are now available - hardback, paperback, ebook and audiobook from Amazon, and both hardback and paperback are available from Shannon through TSLL.co shop on the blog (they will also be signed), and you can ask your independent bookshop to order a paperback copy for you. @roundaboutbooks does have both hardback and paperback, so you can order through them wherever you live as they can ship to you and their copies will be signed.
